Description:
Magnesium stabilized zirconia has high oxygen ion conductivity, high strength and toughness, and good thermal shock resistance. It is a very promising high-temperature functional material and structural ceramic material. Magnesium oxide is used as a stabilizer. The cubic phase material is packed into tiny tetragonal deposits and thus has a very high transformation toughness. Magnesium stabilized zirconia has high fracture toughness. It has excellent mechanical properties, including high strength, fracture toughness, wear resistance, low thermal conductivity and good thermal shock resistance.
